Joint Pain in Rainy Season
Most of us like the rainy season as it gives us some relief from the burning summer. We get delighted with rain showers, but it’s not the same for a person with joint pain. This season is the worst for patients suffering from bone and joint diseases like gout, rheumatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, fractures, etc.
Why Does This Happen?
According to Ayurveda, in the rainy season, there is an aggravation of VATA DOSHA in the body, which is considered the cause of all types of pain. Moreover, our digestive power is also very weak in this season, increasing toxins in the body. As a result, autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and general body pain increase.
What Should We Do?
BASTI is the answer. Basti is a part of the Panchakarma process. It cures all types of VATA DOSHA diseases by removing Vata from the body. To avoid pain and support our weak digestive system, we should eat healthy, light, and fresh food.
- Drink boiled water as contamination is higher in this season.
- Our digestive power is weak, so consuming boiled water helps prevent diseases like typhoid, jaundice, flu, etc.
